We have been working towards our dream of owning a campground for a long time, and our dream came true in 2022 when we purchased Plymouth Sands.
This campground started as a hayfield in 1964, and was lovingly created tree by tree by the previous owners and family. We will strive to offer an experience for people to connect with nature,
create beautiful memories,
and HAVE FUN.
These sites have no water or electric hook-ups. Picnic table and fire ring at every site. Access to restrooms and coin-operated shower house. Some sites available along the beach and river.

No sewer hook-ups, there is a dump station available. We have limited 30amp sites, please make reservations by contacting us by phone, email, or messaging through this site.
We are a rustic campground and best serve those who do not require heavy use of electricity, and will be enjoying our beach, river, and the surrounding area.

We are a family campground with rules in place to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
· All visitors must check-in at the office before entering the campground.
· 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT for child and pet safety.
· Bicycles must also follow 5MPH rule, no riding after dark.
· Children must wear helmets if biking. (State Law for under 16yo)
· Children must be supervised at all times (especially near water/when swimming!).
The river surrounds the campground- always keep eyes on kids.
· Pets must be leashed and picked up after and never left unattended.
· Quiet hours are from 11pm-8am. All outdoor lighting turned off by 11pm.
· Please keep music and TV volume to your own site.
· Do not move the fire rings. Return picnic tables if moved during your stay.
· No fires higher than 2 feet. (State Law) We reserve the right to prohibit fires at any time related to weather/wind/safety.
· Fires may never be left unattended. (State Law)
· Swimming is done AT YOUR OWN RISK, no lifeguards on duty.
· Children under 16yo must have adult supervision on beach AT ALL TIMES.
· Footwear highly recommended at all times-glass possible in sand on the beach.
· Don’t burn trash, please instead put it in our dumpster. We encourage keeping your cans/bottles separate from your trash-we recycle!
· No fireworks allowed on the property.
· Please turn off air conditioners/lights when you are not at your site.
· No swimming allowed at night.
· Do not walk through other people’s campsites- please walk on the road.
· NO ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING OR ELECTRIC SPACE HEATERS ALLOWED.
These rules are for safety and common courtesy.
All guests are entitled to a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled visit.
